40 winks… 182 blinks…

Justine just called to tell me that in August, we will be going to see Blink 182 in concert. We’ve only been to one concert together before, and that also happened to be Blink 182. That concert (back in 2001) was a Christmas present from me to Justine as a surprise. Unfortunately, I sought advice with one of her friends before buying the tickets. Said “friend” ruined the surprise for me. Ah well.

We’ve not been to a concert together since, mainly because there’s not been too many people out that I want to see. Anyone who I do want to see are either too expensive, playing at an inconvenient time/day or Justine’s just not interested. Justine has been to a few concerts with others, but I certainly wasn’t interested in seeing Pink, Matchbox 20 or whoever else it was she saw recently. Especially for the amounts of money they’re charging.

Anyway, apparently some tickets have already been purchased and I am now going. I don’t remember asking but I s’pose it will be OK to go. Not sure if I should be excited or not — least we got seats with bar access…
