Looks like the whole “<something popular> is the devil’s work” debate is back. A couple of decades ago, it was violent films; three or four decades ago, it was “rock and roll” music. Now it’s video games (actually, it’s been video games for around 10 years now that I think of it).

This time around, it’s due to an underaged kid murdering a friend with a claw hammer. Just like in the game Manhunt (which, incidentally, is rated 18+ in the UK, where the murder happened).

In another 20 years it’ll be those direct-brain-implant movies that all the kids are watching that are responsible for all the evils of society. At least, that will be according to the press. Damn press (and why do I keep typing ‘perss’?).
