Though Christmas will shortly be here (and we can tell that by using NORAD’s Santa-tracking site), we should also remember the holiday which shortly follows it — Winter-een-mas.

From the official site, Winter-een-mas is:

a celebration of games and the gamers who play them

So, after you’ve finished celebrating Christmas (or Hannukah, or Festivus, or whatever), and are wondering what’s next to get excited about before Easter, remember Winter-een-mas.

The celebrations run from January 25-31, which also gives us Australia Day in the middle (remember to wear your stubbies and thongs while gaming). And yes, it’s not lost on me that we should be celebrating Summer-een-mas, but what are you going to do?

I mean, really, really nice. I especially liked the squab, he didn't put up a fight.
