Recap: trois

October 5th, 2006 - 9:12am

Yes we can! This is the last of these recaps — they’re coming now because I was too lazy to do them at the time.

Sunday saw Justine and I again spending time with Damien, Trav and Ange as we made our way to the Royal Melbourne Show. We spent a good 3 or 4 hours there, wandering around and seeing all of the exhibits. In fact, I think this was the first time I’ve been to the show and actually seen the arts & crafts exhibits — as I kid I didn’t even know they existed! We then rode on a few rides which spun, crashed or otherwise provided excitement.

As it was the last day of the show many of the showbags had been sold out; there weren’t even any Bertie Beetle showbags left to service my requirements of one Bertie Beetle showbag.

Justine managed to put balls in clown’s mouths and slide down the big slide just before we left so it was not all a total loss.

I managed to take 180 or so photos with my shiny new 2GB Extreme III card, unfortunately my 50mm f/1.8 lens (which is the only lens I used all day) is being a pain and gave me the “ERR 99″ error quite a few too many times. Argh.

A fun day was had by all.
