Recently Justine picked up a newspaper to read while on the train, and amongst the usual advertising claptrap was a Harvey Norman catalogue which contained two free vouchers for 30 6×4 prints.
The timing was quite convenient, as today we went down to the local Harvey Norman store near Chadstone (where MegaMart used to be) and printed out just under 70 photos from our recent activities.
On the vouchers was a condition that mentioned only one voucher per person per day. Since there were two of us, we printed out one lot of 30 and another of 40 (ish). When the receipts printed out there was a note that advised us that our prints would be ready tomorrow at 6:45am. Ready to leave, we looked around a bit at all of the electrical doohickies that are out of our grasp and walked out. Just before we exited the store I checked with the checkout chick to see if our photos would be ready and she advised us that “the photo printer lies”.
Our photos were ready and waiting for us, so we went over and picked them up, and paid the $2.60 for our 70 matte photos. Bargain!
