You know your life has been the “wake up, work, home, sleep, repeat” loop when you have two days off (yesterday and today) and you can’t even think of anything to do. You can however, think of lots of things that need doing at work.
I have purposefully avoided checking my work email to see if people had responded to email I had sent on Wednesday, and was quite happy that I managed to do so. Instead though, I did pretty much stuff all both days. Basically, I played games on the computer, and watched cable TV. That was pretty much it.
I have had two weekend days now (yesterday and today), and since I’ve had two lazy days of doing nothing (which is normally called a “weekend”, if I can manage two days where I don’t actually have any commitments) I have a further two days of… well, I don’t really know. It’s such a struggle really.
I know, I know, you’re probably thinking “well, I had to work, and it was quite tough; you had it easy you slack bugger,” but you try filling two empty days when you don’t have any commitments or stuff you want to do (sure, there’s stuff I could have done, like housework, but I tried my best — as usual — to avoid it).
