You know your life has been the “wake up, work, home, sleep, repeat” loop when you have two days off (yesterday and today) and you can’t even think of anything to do. You can however, think of lots of things that need doing at work.

I have purposefully avoided checking my work email to see if people had responded to email I had sent on Wednesday, and was quite happy that I managed to do so. Instead though, I did pretty much stuff all both days. Basically, I played games on the computer, and watched cable TV. That was pretty much it.

I have had two weekend days now (yesterday and today), and since I’ve had two lazy days of doing nothing (which is normally called a “weekend”, if I can manage two days where I don’t actually have any commitments) I have a further two days of… well, I don’t really know. It’s such a struggle really.

I know, I know, you’re probably thinking “well, I had to work, and it was quite tough; you had it easy you slack bugger,” but you try filling two empty days when you don’t have any commitments or stuff you want to do (sure, there’s stuff I could have done, like housework, but I tried my best — as usual — to avoid it).

On Friday, we got cable TV installed. Hurrah!

Now, I’ve watched cable TV many times, but I’ve never actually had it all to myself. We got a package which has the bog standard channels, as well as a few movie channels. Well, Friday afternoon I sat down to watch some telly and get that butt groove worked into the couch.

I started flicking through the channels, as well as reading the guide; I couldn’t find more than two movies I wanted to watch (that we don’t have on DVD already) for the entire month of December on the three movie channels for which we’re paying fifteen bucks a month! What a gip!

So, we called up immediately and dumped the crap movies channel, and got another six channels of stuff instead.

This is a much better choice, ’cause we get The Comedy Channel (feat. Whose Line is it Anyway, Norm, South Park, SNL and more), as well as another documentary channel (four others isn’t enough, thankyouverymuch) and some other crap I won’t watch.

Over the course of the weekend, when I was actually able to watch TV, the two types of channels I watched most were the music (MTV, [V]) and documentary channels (National Geographic, Discovery, History, Adventure1); I must be getting old.

The powerboard running the “entertainment” area in the house was also too small so I had to get a bigger one (MORE POWER). We’ve got a spaghetti of cable behind the TV now. I’m a bit scared to go back there; it’s looking like those tentacle-monster anime back there!

Note: Yes, the reason I didn’t post all weekend is because I was parked in front of the TV and not the computer, is that a problem?

Justine has the next few days from work off, as she is rather sick at the moment. I won’t go into details because it’s really none of your damn business, but I’ll be spending those few days with her, uhh, looking after her. Yes, that’s it. Anyway, the site probably won’t be updated for a while because I’m using Justine’s sickness as an excuse for me to be lazy. Deal with it!

Been rather quiet on the news-front haven’t I? I have many, many images to upload, but as usual I am far to lazy to sort through them and resize them to be a reasonable file size for the web.

What’s new? Well, I’ve almost finished three weeks away from work, during this time I assisted Stephan with configured a network for Altamar Networks. That’s about all I did. ;D Justine was involved in a minor car accident (which wasn’t her fault), again, pics will be uploaded when I can be bothered (don’t mind waiting, do ya?).

Well, that’s all from me for a while.

Sorry for the lack of updates recently, I’m too lazy - I know!

Also, work has put a ban on the web host so I can’t make changes to the site’s code whilst at work… ;(

Well, it’s been around 2 weeks since my last update, nothing much has really happened. Unfortunately, site updates seemed to have become stagnant. Has nothing happened in my life? Well, some, but not anything newsworthy (heh).

Namezero seems to have caught on to my evil little scheme, so I might actually have to register the domain (oh, horror) - this means I’ll own it though. Maybe it’s a good thing then… ;)

I’ve been playing Final Fantasy IX quite a bit, perhaps in preparation for FFX, more than likely not. I really enjoy playing Japanese RPGs, and have since the NES so it’s no surprise really! Those previously mentioned new sections are still in the works (read: still being thought about before I start working on them).

It’s my birthday in about 9 or 10 days, yay. Now I get to feel old… 23 to be exact. I keep getting told I’m old by Justine - she’s turning 20 just under a week later.

Well, I’m going on two weeks leave starting Friday 20th (expect minimal, if any updates). Probably not going to go anywhere special, might go away on a few day trips but nothing hugely exciting. I’ll probably be spending most of my time just relaxing with my girlfriend Justine who is also having two weeks off. On the work front, I think I might try and organise a 4 day week for myself, so I can guarantee that I’ll get a day shift, this should also give me more time in my job hunt. Decided to put off getting the digital camera as I’m not sure whether I’m going to leave work without having another job to go to.
