
Vietnam celebrates Confucius’ birthday today, and the hat we bought in Thailand fit the bill perfectly for this idea. I know it’s not really “Confucius-y” but it’s where the idea stemmed from.

Sometimes I just lock them in a cupboard until they all calm down.

Just as surprising is the style of the bikes, they are an old style of bike and anyone in Australia caught dead riding one of these would be, well, dead.
The parking lot at the main train station in Amsterdam was perhaps the most surprising of all. Four levels, just for bikes. There must have been close to (if not more than) 10,000 bikes parked there.
